Julius A. Perkins, mechanical director of the Universal Roller Bearing Co., New York City, died Dec. 7, 1920, at the age of 72 years. He was born at Hudson, Michigan.

Contributor James Herbert (46969485) suggests: Julius married Marie Mehlb abt 1879 in Germany, but was French speaking in that area. No doubt it was an area which was controlled by either Germany or France, depending upon the historical period. For certain periods of his life, Julius Augustus referred to himself as "August." Also, at times, he took the name of his stepfather, George Hawkins White who married his mother in 1850, Rhoda Jane Frazier after she divorced Vinson Gideon Perkins.
