The funeral of Mrs. Phoebe Talbot (sic) who died on Tuesday morning, will be held from her late residence 300 Eagle street, on Thursday morning.
At the time of her death she was 58* years old, having been born in Crawford* county, in the eastern part of the state. When 10 years old she came to Terre Haute which has been her home ever since. In 1852 she married Henry Humble, becoming the mother of six sons, three of whom now live in St. Louis, one in Colorado and two, Edward and Scott Humble, in this city.
Mr. Humble died about 19 years ago and four years later Mrs. Humble married William A. Talbot (sic). By her second husband she had no children.
Frank Humble, one of the sons residing in St. Louis has come to attend the funeral, but the other children were compelled to be absent from the sad occasion.
