Myrtle C. Maurice, 82, formerly of Mt Holly Springs, PA, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, PA. She was born on April 4, 1935 in Carlisle, PA to the late Blaine and Mae Drucilla Hargelroad Warner. Myrtle was the widow of Jay Maurice.
Myrtle was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church and worked as a child care provider for Mother's Morning Out daycare.
She is survived by three children, Jay "Jake" Maurice and Duane Maurice, both of Mt. Holly Springs and Edie Weibley of Carlisle, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Myrtle is preceded in death by her siblings: Violet, Bud, Carl, Marlin, June, Janet and Faye.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Edward B. Alwine officiating. A viewing will be held at 5:00 PM until the service. Burial will be private in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Homecare Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Rd., Suite 302, Carlisle, PA 17015.
