Glen Bryant Miner was born Tuesday, November 12, 1901 to Albert Uriah and Eliza Estella Day Miner in Fairview, Utah.

He married his eternal companion, Caroline Eyring, on May 20, 1931 in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple. They observed their 65th wedding anniversary before his death.

He earned his Bachelors of Science degree at Brigham Young University and received a masters degree from Stanford University. He served a full-time mission for the LDS Church in Mexico.

He taught school for twenty years in college and high school. He worked as a statistician at the Utah State Department of Employment Security and retired after several years of service.

Through most of his life, he was a dairy farmer. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. His church and beloved family were his life. Glen and Caroline were longtime residents of the Foothill neighborhood of Salt Lake City, residing at 2415 East St. Mary's Drive (1450 South) from 1953 until his death.

Glen passed away on Saturday, June 8, 1996 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah of natural causes.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, June 12, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monument Park Ninth Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1565 South Foothill Drive (2400 East) in Salt Lake City. Family and friends attended a viewing on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary located at 2350 East 1300 South in Salt Lake City, and on Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Following the conclusion of the Funeral Services, the funeral procession commenced and solemnly and slowly proceeded through the Foothill neighborhood of Salt Lake City and concluded at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery located at 2350 East 1300 South in Salt Lake City, where Glen was laid to rest.
