Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the East Delta Baptist Church with Eugene Adams officiating and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018, at East Delta Baptist Church.
Bobby Wayne was born in Rosebud, Texas, on January 13, 1941, to Otis and Mattie Downs Blakley. They have preceded him in death, as well as, four sisters and two brothers.
He was a farmer and dairyman in Delta County, member of the National Dairy Shrine in Madison, Wisconsin, and a deacon at the East Delta Baptist Church.
He is survived by one brother, James Lee Blakley and his wife, Norma, sister-in-laws, Betty Blakley, and Martha Blakley, all of Livingston, Texas, and one brother-in-law, Ott Wimpey of New Caney, Texas. Survivors include his three sons: Robert and Debbie Blakley of Livingston, Texas, Daryl and Stephanie Blakley of Lake Creek, Texas, and Chris Blakley of Commerce, Texas. His four daughters: Cynthia Chalker and Charles of Spring, Texas, Beverly Couch and Tim of Mt. Joy, Texas, Laura Rodgers and Anthony of Royersford, Pennsylvania, and Pam Eilers and Anthony of Campbell, Texas. In addition, he has seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
