Died – at the home of his son, Frank, in the town of Chilton, on Tuesday Sept. 19th, Frank Basler, Sr., age 80 years 5 months and 16 days. Mr. Basler was a native of Germany and has been a resident of this county for many years. He was for a number of years a leading farmer of Ozaukee County.
A few years ago he came to Chilton town and has since resided with his sons. For the past six months he had been in Poor health.
The funeral took place on Thursday. The remains were taken to Mequon, Ozaukee County where he will be laid to rest beside his wife. Who died some ten years ago.
He leaves two sons, and three daughters to mourn his death.
