Kay F. Kershner, 79, of Hildreth passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Franklin Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Kay was born on October 11, 1938 in Franklin to Earl and Elva (Strayer) Hughes. She graduated from Franklin High School with the class of 1956. On February 3, 1957, she was united in marriage to Alden Bunger. To this union, a son, Alan, and a daughter, Dana was born. After 20 years, Alden passed away suddenly in June of 1977.
In August of 1979, Kay was united in marriage to Marvin Albers. On October 20, 2000, Kay was united in marriage to Gordon Kershner.
Kay worked as an aide at Hildreth High School and later worked at the Hildreth Farmer’s Cooperative until retiring in July of 1999.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two brothers and five sisters.
