J.W. Wessinger
James Warren Wessinger, 86, retired farmer of Rt. 1, Columbia, died late Wednesday in Baptist Hospital.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Virginia Taylor Wessinger; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bradwell, Mrs. Ann Ray and Mrs. Mary Meetze, all of Columbia, and Mrs. Lois Taylor of Conway, N.C.; seven sons, John W. Wessinger of Chapin, Ira L. Wessinger and Harold W., James M. Wessinger of West Columbia, F. Brooks Wessinger and Henry R. Wessinger, both of Columbia, and George Wessinger of Irmo; and one brother, Marion E. Wessinger of Blythewood.
Services for Mr. Wessinger will be held at 4 p.m. today in Dunbar Funeral Home Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. J. Kenneth Webb. Burial will be in Southland Memorial Gardens.
Grandsons serving as active pallbearers will be Raymond Metz, Carlis Bradwell, Ricky Wessinger, George Wessinger Jr., Warren Taylor and Michael Wessinger.
