Earl was born October 12, 1930 in York and was the son of the late Clarence and Ada (Crone) Brenneman.
He graduated from William Penn High School in York. He was employed for over 40 years with Cole Steel in York before retiring in 1990. He was a member of many Gasoline Engine Clubs, The National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, PA., and Faith Community At the Brethren Home.
In addition to his wife, Wilma Jane, Earl is survived by his son, Michael Brenneman and his companion, Kim Schmuck of Shiloh; his daughter, Linda Knause and her husband Terry of SC; two grandchildren, Daniel Knause and his wife, Lacey and Chad Schmuck and his wife, Sarah, and one great grandson, Henry Knause. Earl was preceded in death by his brothers, Allen, Donald, Melvin and Fred and his sisters, Pauline, Blanche, Sara, and Amy.
His memorial service will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Faith Community at the Brethren Home in the Nicarry Meetinghouse, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday in the Nicarry Meetinghouse. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be Reverend Linda Titzell and Reverend Brandon Grady.
