YORK Amy C. Williams, 88, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died Friday, August 8, 2014, at Manor Care North. Amy was the wife of the late Nelson E. Williams.
Born in York Co., on August 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Ada J. (Crone) Brenneman. Amy was a graduate of York High School Class of 1944.
She was employed with the Blue Bird Silk Factory and later with the Bon Ton Distribution Center. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Pandolfino of Dover; a son, Larry N. Williams and his wife, Carol of York; two grandsons, Paul N. Williams of Philadelphia and Matthew C. Williams of York; and a brother, Earl J. Brenneman and his wife, Janey of Dover. A memorial service to celebrate Amy's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1569 W. Market St. in York. Visitation with the family will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Doctor W. Arthur Grahe. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. The Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St. in York is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, 1569 W. Market St., York, PA 17404.
