Native of Peekskill. Douglas N. Jessup, 76, died Thursday, May 4 at the Rosary Hill Nursing Home in Hawthorne.

He was born to Charles and Emeline Croft Jessup In Peekskill on July 22, 1918.

Mr. Jessup served as a Navy veteran during World War II.

He married Theresa Kilzer in Pennsylvania on JUly 25, 1977. He moved from Peekskill to Montrose after their marriage.

Mr. Jessup owned a window installation business, D & D Industries, Inc in Peekskill, for many years. He retired about 18 years ago. He was a member of St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan.

He is survived by his wife of Montrose; two sons, Douglas N. Jr. of Surfside Beach, S.C. and Richard of Ossining: five brothers, Howard of Slatington, Pa., Willard of Portola, Calif, Richard of Mount Eden, Calif., Charles of Hayward, Calif and Lenny of Paige Ariz.; and a sister, Estelle Fontaine of Las Vegas.

A sister Irene Ferrara, died earlier.
