Loretta Canada, age 85, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 06, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Loretta was born on November 7, 1932 in Burnside, KY to the late Estil Barnes and Madeline Taylor Barnes.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Somerset. She loved camping, bowling and playing cards.

Loretta was a former Desk Clerk for Holiday Inn and Office Manager for Dr. Betts and Dr. Clark.

Loretta is survived by one son, Donald Canada of Somerset; one grandchild, Tiana (and P. John) McQueary of Russell Springs, KY; and three great-grandchildren, Hayley Popplewell, Morgan McQueary, and Riley McQueary.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Canada, to whom she was married for over 50 years, and he preceded her on January 29, 2002; one son, Richard Canada; and one brother, Harold Barnes.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Altman officiating.

Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
