He retired from Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus after being employed for forty-seven years as a Warranty Administrator. He later worked for ten years at Lowes in Columbus. He graduated in 1937 from Midland High School, was a charter member of the Palm Coast, Florida United Methodist Church, 64-year member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #20, was a diesel instructor at Daytona Beach Community College, & was an Army Air Force veteran of WW II.
Survivors include two sons, Brian A. Corbin of Columbus & Stephen A. Corbin of Bargersville, a daughter, Marsha K. Reynolds of Columbus, a sister, Ruby Sterrett of Crawfordsville, five grandchildren & seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine (Morgan) Corbin, Jan. 26, 2001, a sister, Jessie Morgan, three brothers, Lee, Lloyd, & Paul Corbin, & his parents.
