Married Leonard Sterrett in September of 1948 at Lafayette First Baptist Church. He preceded her in death in July of 1997.
Survivors include son Len (Shauna) Sterrett; daughter Karlene (Tom) Runge; 3 granddaughters, a grandson, and 2 great-granddaughters; sisters-in-law, Marjory Oyler and Shirley Sterrett; brother-in-law David Sterrett.
She was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Graduate of Midland High School and attended Lafayette Business College.
Worked for the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce for seven and one-half years.
She was a member of Crawfordsville First Baptist Church, Alpha Chi Bible Study, Edna Martin Mission Circle and Golden Friendship Guild.
Ruby enjoyed using her hobbies of sewing and quilting to help others. Connecting with family and friends was especially a joy to her as well as quietly serving others whenever she could.
Funeral service 11am Saturday, November 14 at First Baptist Church, Crawfordsville. Visitation 9am until time of service.
Memorial donations to the Edna Martin Mission Circle at First Baptist Church, Crawfordsville.
