Bennie H. Lenoir, 77, of Ben Lenoir Road, Franklin, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007, at his residence.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Ben B. and Corrine Huckaby Lenoir.

He was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lenoir Burrell and Kathy Lenoir Parrish of Franklin; seven sisters, Ada Florence Leatherwood, Virginia Ramey, Mary Louise Wallace, Marie Holland, Jody Sellers and Shirley Waldroop, all of Franklin, and Nell Harrison of Dahlonega, Ga.; four grandchildren, Todd Burrell, Tricia Carver, David Parrish and Lena Cabe; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Lenoir; a great-granddaughter, Kaili Brook Carver; and four brothers, J.B. Lenoir, Leon Lenoir, Bill Lenoir and John Wiley Lenoir.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Bryant Funeral Home, with Revs. Jamie Passmore and Roy Lowe officiating.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lenoir, Gene Leatherwood, Brian Sellers, Steve Sellers, Larry Wallace and Ronnie Dean Maney.
