Carlton Conway Carter, 93, of Danville, passed away Feb. 16, 2018. He was born in Pittsylvania Co. on Sept. 28, 1924 to John Coleman Carter and Nellie Kate Williams Carter.
He worked as a Nabisco salesman for 42 years. He was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church.
His wife, Mary Augusta Giles Carter, predeceased him in 2014. He is survived by his brother, Harry Wooding Carter; his children, Katherine Elizabeth Carter Calos, Connie Carter Scott (Randy) and Carlton Giles Carter; seven grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
