Clara Lee Justice Ramey, 75, of Lexington, formerly of Pikeville, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Darby Square Nursing Home, Lexington, Ky.
Born March 3, 1924, at Pike Co., Ky., she was a daughter of the late Vada Smith Justice and Flem Justice.
She was also preceded in death by husband, James Ramey; daughter, Peggy Ramey; William E., Abner, Anderson, Taylor, Lawson, Leo Justice; sisters, Myrtle Justice, Mercie, Hunt, Surah Billiter and Clotene Prater.
She was a former school teacher, interior designer, and a receptionist for the Kentucky Department of Highways, and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Patsy Mann, Lexington, Ky.; sisters, Fannie Justice, Raccoon, Ky., Cleo J. Chaney, Delphia J. Branham, Velma J. Childers all of Pikeville; one grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: noon, Monday. Aug. 9, 1999 at J.W. Call Funeral Home with the Revs. Bob E. Norman and Harold Dorsey officiating.
Burial: Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, Ky.
Pallbearers: Larry Doug Chaney, Danny Branham, Masten Childers II, Denton Billiter. Roscoe Billiter, Randall Justice, Cornelius Justice and Linton Justice.
Visitation: 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
