Obituary for Cleo Justice Chaney
Cleo Justice Chaney, age 87, of Pikeville, passed away, Monday, January 15, 2007 at her residence.

She was a Homemaker and self-employed as a cable t.v. operator, water company and service station owner. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on November 7, 1919 the daughter of the late Flem and Vada Smith Justice.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ireland Chaney on June 12, 1998, she was also preceded in death by six brothers, William E. Justice, Abner Justice, Ransom Justice, Taylor 'Doc' Justice, Anderson Justice and Leo Justice and five sisters, Myrtle Justice, Sarah Jane Billiter, Mercy Hunt, Clara Lee Ramey and Clotine "Tena" Prater.

She is survived by one son, Larry Douglas Chaney of Pikeville and one daughter, Ruth Ann Conn of Pikeville, three sisters, Fannie Justice of Raccoon, Velma Childers of Pikeville and Delphia Branham and her husband, Tivis of Pikeville and one sister-in-law, Myrtle Chaney Reynolds of Shelbiana.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, Leigh Ann Branham and her husband, Jimmy and Noah Conn, Jr. and his wife, Amanda and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Branham, Blake Branham and Heidi Belle Conn and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Honsel Billiter, Doug Branham, Danny Branham, Masten Childers, Randell Childers and Jack Justice.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: Denton Billiter, Kermit Billiter, Jr., Linton Justice, Paul Dean Justice, Sonny Hunt, Steve Justice Cooksey, Ronnie Hunt, Cornelius Justice, Foster Justice, Ransey Chaney Jr., Billy Hunt and Bruce Huffman.

Visitation:
In the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel, Monday after 6 p.m.

Funeral:
11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2007 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Norman and Bro. Paul Badgett officiating.

Interment:
Entombment will following in the J.U. Thacker Mausoleum at Annie E. Young Cemetery.
