Funeral services for Anna M. “Memmie” Bird Thomasson, 98, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Utica Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12-8 PM and after 9 AM on Friday at the funeral home. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her home.

Memmie was born on January 1, 1920 in Bullitt County, KY, to the late William and Katherine Druin.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Bird; infant son, Raymond Lee Bird; grandson, William Russell Moore; five brothers; two sisters; and her second husband, Bob Thomasson.

Memmie is survived by a son, James M. Bird (Beryl); a daughter, Helen L. Hacker; three grandchildren, James Edward Bird (Nickie); Patricia A. Crone (Rich); Danita L. Stephens (Doug); four great grandchildren, Amanda M. Meyer; Michael J. Hacker (Chelsey); Sydney J. Bird; Kyle E. Bird; two great-great grandchildren, Addison R. Hacker; Wyatt R. Hacker; and many nieces, nephews, and Wilma Bird.

Memorial contributions can be made to Howard Park Christian Church, 450 W. Norwood Avenue, Clarksville, IN 47129.
