A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Henry Benson Willis (1873–1950) and Emma Melissa Miller Willis (1871–1926); wife of the late Joseph Marion "Doc" Parham (1893–1958).
Survivors include daughters, Lucille Parham Pechillis (1914-1987), Lillie Mae Parham Durham (1916–2008), Thelma Parham Ford (1918–1988), and Helen Virginia Parham Jordan (1922–1997); son, Herbert Lee Parham (1926–2000); brother, Vernon Willis; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Also predeceased by her siblings, Byron Washington Willis (1886–1954), Otis Fletcher Willis (1895–1962), Benson Odell Willis (1895–1952), John Fred Willis (1906–1963), Myrtle Lee Willis Stansel (1908–1970).
Services were held at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Arcadia by Rev. O. Virgil Turner and Rev. Roy Gowan; burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
