Lillie Durham, 92, of Spartanburg, formally of Arcadia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at White Oak Manor. Born March 12, 1916 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Doc and Maude Willis Parham and widow of Homer Durham. She was first married to the late John A. Cannon. She was retired from Mayfair Mills and a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Darrell Cannon and his wife, Dorothy (Dot); a daughter-in-law, Joanne B. Cannon of Spartanburg; four grandsons, Jeff, Mark, John, Rob Cannon; seven great grandchildren David, Matthew, Amy, Kate, Kaitlyn, Logan and Noah Cannon; many loved nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers, Cassie Hines and Tommy Ford. She was predeceased by one son, Fred F. Cannon, one brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be at 2:00 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Joey Burnett with the eulogy by Rob Cannon. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Jordon, Mike and Herb Parham and Tommy Ford.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arcadia First Baptist Church, PO Box 25, Arcadia, SC 29320.

The family will be at the home of her son, Darrell Cannon, 408 Midway Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
