Nellie Ruth Kilgore, a resident of Autumn Square Assisted Living and formerly of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on January 23, 2018.
At one time, she was the owner of Artistic Flower Shop in Bowdon, but retired from West Georgia College where she worked as a secretary. She was also a long time and devoted member of Bowdon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Kilgore; parents, Lee and Mary Annie Reeves; grandson, Casey Wessinger.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Randy and Susan Kilgore, Phil and Vicki Kilgore, Deborah and Harry Brown; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bowdon Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Bowdon City Cemetery. Prior to the services, Mrs. Kilgores body will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 p.m. till the funeral hour and, during this time, the family will receive friends.
