Kenneth D. Smith, 77, of Rogers, passed away Jan. 21 in his home. He was born June 1, 1940, to Oriel and Eula Smith in Creston, Iowa.

He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1985, and was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean Ann of over 42 years, two brothers: Don Smith and Carroll Smith, and a sister, Shirley Smith.

Survivors include four children: Roger Smith (Anna Anderson) of Temple, Texas, Rodrick Smith of Tulsa, Okla., Randall Smith of Rogers, and Korey Smith of Rogers; seven grandchildren: Caroline Anderson, Alexis Smith, Tommy Anderson, Arian Smith, Brady Smith, Kristin Collins, and Jordyn Collins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville.

Funeral Service and placement of cremated remains with Military Honors will be Thursday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.
