JASPER—Funeral for Hassell Robert "Dizzy" Behannon, 64, of Jasper will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Forest Oaks Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Springs Cemetery.
He died Monday at a Tyler hospital after an illness.
A native of Roganville, he lived in Jasper most of his life and was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Behannon of Jasper; mother, Esther Behannon of Jasper; two sons, Robbie Behannon of Florida and Michael David Behannon of Kirbyville; two daughters, Barbara Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Beverly Levins of Kirbyville; five stepsons, Wesley Ard of Port Arthur, W. B. Ard of Austin, Tommy Ard of Diboll, Joe Ard of Irving and Robert Ard of Odessa; a brother, Frank Behannon of Roganville; three sisters, Eileen Faulkner and Elvie Primrose, both of Roganville and Dorothy Brown of Jasper; 22 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
