Her maiden name was Vera C. Dignan. She was born in Utica, Aug. 23, 1892, and was graduated from the Utica Catholic Academy. She was married to Edward J. Barry in 1910. She was a member of St. Agnes Church and of the Rosary and Altar Societies and of Augustus Statzer Lodge, Auxilary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
She is sprvived by her husband and by three sons, Edward, Robert and Francis, all of Utica; two slsters Mrs. F. E. Duffy of Utica, and Mrs. Irving Thomas of Oriskany; and one brother, Edward Dignan of Utica.
