Nancy Lee Penlad 71 passed away Sunday December 17-2017

Nancy was born July 27-1946 Fresno California to the daughter of James and Irene(Smith) Fortney. A graduate of Nalagoney High School.

Nancy married Donald G Smith on January 27-1967 in Nalagoney to this marriage their two daughters Stacy and Brenda were born.Donna preceded Nancy in death June 10-1983.
A time later she met Wesley Edward Penland and they married on July 24-1986 in Pawhuska Oklahoma,he preceded her in death April 9-2005.
Nancy better known as "TT" loved her girls with all her heart,but once the grandkids came along the "girls" took a backseat,then the great grandkids came and her world was complete ,she loved her sisters and brothers would do anything for them.She enjoyed spending time with her family,watching her grandkids "activities"going to Greencorn every game watching the "Thunders" basketball games,going to garage sales and shopping at Goodwill. She never met a stranger or someone she couldn't talk to. She loved her fur baby Sassy and took her everywhere she went.Nancy attended the Cornerstone Community Church.

Surviving family include her daughters Stacy Sutherland and husband Scott and Brenda Hatfield and husband Jimmy.Grandchildren Tim Wilson and wife Christi,Kacie Myers and husband Nate,Kamlee Legg and husband Austin,Baylee Sutherland and Mariah Hatfield,Hunter Sutherland and Kori Brinkey and husband Austin.
Sisters Dorothy Hope,Mavis Redeagel and Dede Miller
and brothers Lonnie Fortney,David Fortney and Darwin Fortney

In addition to her spouses,Nancy was preceded in death by her parents,sisters Jean Meek,Lou Ann Washington,Billy Redeagle,Edna Briggs,Madelyn Niblack,Sue Jones and Maxine Fortney and brothers Leo Merchant,Harry Merchant,James Fortney and Lincoln Fortney.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 20th at 2:00 at the Frist Baptist Church of Pawhuska. Rev. James Hager will officiate.Inerment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Kendrick McCartney Johnson will be in charge of arrangements.
