Burgess Moore was the daughter of:
Frank Morgan Moore 1863 – 1903 and Ellender Magdalene 'Dolly' Reid 1869 – 1942.

She was one of 10 children: Frank Morgan, Jr. Moore 1885–1910 ; Knoxie Moore 1886–1887; Mattie Willis Moore
1887–1946; Ellen N Moore 1889–1912; Dora John Moore
1891–1914; Andrew J Moore 1893–1916; William Dee 'Beanie' Moore 1895–1978; Ben Crockett Moore 1898–1916 ; Emma M Moore 1899–1910; Infant Moore 1901 – 1901

She was 17 when she died, while visiting her brother, William D. Moore, and her mother 'Dolly' Moore in Lometa at her brother's home. My grandfather (Wm.D Moore) said she caught pneumonia and died while visiting him. The death certificate reads Pulminary TB.

Her gravestone has long since disappeared, but my brother located her plot, and erected a small wooden cross for her until we can get a new stone.....Information given by Lynda Duncan Miles.
