Mrs. Ellen Mangum
The sad news was received in Gonzales this morning of the death of Mrs. Ellen Mangum, wife of Obed Mangum, at nine o'clock last night, aged 22 years.
Mrs. Mangum had been ill for no hope of the young wife's recovery, it was a sever blow to the bereaved family.
Besides a husband, she leaves an aged mother, Mrs, Frank Moore, who resides near the Guadalupe church, east of Gonzales and many other relatives to mourn her loss.
The funeral procession will form at the family residence about five miles north of Gonzales and move to the Stevens cemetery, where the interment will be made at 3:30 this afternoon.
