Marjorie "Marge" Magill Haub of Prairie Village, Kansas passed away November 21, 2017.

Marge was the ninth of 10 children born on the farm to Ivar and Birttie (Harris) Holm in Dwight, Kansas on April 7, 1923. She attended Kansas State University and worked for the State Commission of Revenue and Taxation before her marriage to Laurus W. Magill on December 23, 1944. They were the parents of five children: Steve (Marie) Magill of Oxford, Kansas, the late Larry (Carrie) Magill Jr., of Topeka, Kansas, Marla (Kevin) Leeper of Nevada, Missouri, Kent (Tess) Magill of Kansas City, Missouri, and Rick (Sarah) Magill of Naperville, Illinois.

Marge and Larry were longtime members of Westport Presbyterian Church, and later, Village Presbyterian Church where Marge served as an Elder. Marge was an active volunteer in the Head Start program in KCMO, and also volunteered with the Johnson County Health Department, serving as a member of their Advisory Committee. She was inspired by the arts and was active in The Symphony Women's Association and The Lyric Opera Guild. Marge was a member of Johnson County Young Matrons, Leawood Women's Club and PEO Chapter AE.

Prior to Larry's death on February 24, 1983, Marge and Larry shared their love of the outdoors and the family will treasure the memories of their camping trips to Colorado and Minnesota.

Marge married Harold "Haubie" Haub on September 28, 1985 and lovingly added to her family: Claudia Smiley of Lenexa, Kansas, and Kent (Sherry) Haub of Overland Park, Kansas, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They were blessed with special friends (known fondly as the Millard Fillmore Group) with whom they shared worldwide travel and many adventures. Haubie passed away on June 7, 2015.

Marge loved to entertain, was an excellent cook, and loved art, antiques and reading. Those loves were surpassed only by her deep love and commitment to her family, both immediate and extended. A gracious and kind woman, Marge will be greatly missed by her four children, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves a brother, Loren (Mildred) Holm of Council Grove, Kansas.
