“I’m so close to Heaven”. Ruth May Propp was born on May 21, 1935 and died on Oct. 7, 2017 at 82 years old.

Ruth was a first generation German from Russia, born to Katherine and Jake Lind. She was born in Windsor, Colo., and attended Windsor schools.

Ruth was very active and successful in so many ways, including being a cheerleader. Ruth married Charles Propp and their marriage gave them two great children. Her prized person in the world was her grandson [name's omitted].

Ruth was a great mother. She worked for the Poudre R1 School District and CSU. Ruth and Charles built four homes and loved decorating. She was active with church and loved God which reflected in her children. Ruth loved her sports, especially the Colorado Rockies. Her high point was going to the World Series.

Ruth had many friends and will be dearly missed. Ruth was one of 14 children in the Lind family. She was the third youngest. Her family was always very close and important to her. Ruth was a perfect daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed and forever loved.

A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St. in Fort Collins. Inurnment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.--Bohlender Funeral Chapel
