Linda L. Much, age 91, of Clintonville passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Shawano Medical Center.

The former Linda Lorraine Braatz was born on August 12, 1923 in the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County, to John and Ida (Miller) Braatz. Prior to her marriage she worked for a short time at Marion Plywood. Linda was united in marriage on October 12, 1946 to Alvin "Bud" Much at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Dupont. The couple dairy farmed most of their lives on Nollenberg Road in the Town of Union, Waupaca County. In 1992 they settled in Clintonville and her husband preceded her in death on February 1, 2003. Linda is a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Big Falls, where she served with the Ladies Aide. Her interests included working in her flower and vegetable gardens, raising chickens, and baking pies and desserts of all sorts.

Survivors include four sons; Roger Much of Manawa, Melvin (Linda) Much of Marion, Terry Much of Waupaca, and Lyle Much of Clintonville. There are 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin "Bud", a daughter, Sharon, a son, Duane, one sister, Elda Hauschultz, and two brothers, Harold and Walter Braatz.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Big Falls. Rev. Janice Kuder will officiate and burial will be at Roseland Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. The Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Marion, is assisting the family.
