DIED--In this place, on Friday morning last, after a protracted illness, Mr. George w. Harrison, aged about 50 years. Mr. H. was born in Virginia, where he resided until about the years 1845, when he emigrated to Washington county, Arkansas; and in 1846 he removed to this State, since which time he has lived in this place. He was a gentleman of brilliant talents, and of finished education. He was a Royal Arch Mason, and was buried with Masonic Honors by Victoria lodge No. 40. He has left a large and very interesting family, together with many warm friends, to mourn his loss.
