NATHANIEL LEE WEBB SR., 81, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at Greenfield Senior Living surrounded by his family. Nathaniel was born in Waynesboro, Pa., on Oct. 27, 1935, to the late Roseanna (Guyer) and Francis L. Webb.

In addition to his parents, Nathaniel was preceded in death by his brother, William Webb.

Nathaniel was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Nathaniel was a member of the Marine Corps League Antietam Detachment, AMVETS Post 10, American Legion Post 42, Maugansville Ruritan Club for more than 40 years, North American Rod and Gun Club, Boy Scout leader of Troop 64 for 10 years, Maugansville Little League manager for five years, and the Nestle Quarry by the Potomac Association. He was a member of First Christian of Hagerstown and attended Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Rose Webb; two sons, Nathaniel L. Webb Jr., and W. Andrew Webb; five grandchildren,; one great-granddaughter two sisters, Sarah E. Shrader and Theresa Guessford; stepbrother, Frances Webb.

A funeral service will be held t Rest Haven Funeral Home Inc., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
