Mina Louise "Lucy" Castle, age 73, of the Yuma community, went home to be with the Lord and her many loved ones, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Nova Health Care in Weber City, VA. She was a retired LPN from Holston Valley Hospital having worked 34 years in healthcare. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Nettie Anderson; and brothers, Roy and Hugh Anderson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Johnny H. Castle; son, Tony Castle (Phyllis); daughter, Tina Alley (Mike); grandchildren, Heather Castle (Dwight), Destiny Robbins (Kol), Amber Robbins, Christy Jennings (Justin), Dewayne, Bobby and Jessica Wines, and Cecilia Carter; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Anderson (Mary), Joe Anderson, Jerry Anderson (Carolyn), Danny Anderson (Ruby), and Charles Anderson (Patricia); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, 03/16/15, at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, 03/17/15 at Prospect UMC Cemetery in Yuma.
