John Charles Anderson went home to be with the Lord September 26th, 2017.
He leaves behind a daughter, of the home, Renea Anderson; and a son, of the home, John Cody Anderson; brother-in-law, Herbert Dewayne Simpson; brothers, William Anderson and spouse Mary, Dan Anderson and spouse Ruby, Jerry Anderson and spouse Carolyn, Joe Anderson; sister-in-law, Annie Sue Anderson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anderson; father, Lawrence Anderson; mother, Nettie Anderson; sister, Louise Castle and spouse Johnny; brother, Hugh Anderson and brother, Lee Roy Anderson.
Knowing him you knew he loved the Lord and his family. He enjoyed reading the bible and farming. He recently retired from Domtar paper mill. He had many close friends he worked with and loved them dearly.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm till 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.
Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm with Ken Christian officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
