Mrs. G. B. Drew Passes Away

On January 17 at 2:00 p.m. occurred the funeral services of Mrs. Eliza Isabelle Manatt-Drew, conducted in the Lepley home near Carnforth, the Methodist minister officiating. Mrs. Drew was born hear Victor, Iowa, January 29, 1848, and died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, January 12, 1913, where she was receiving medical attention for the preceeding three months. On December 31, 1876, the deceased was married to G. B. Drew in Iowa City, whose interment occurred two years and one month since. Mrs. Drew of Soldiers Grove, Wis., leaves an aged mother and step-father, Mrs. and Mrs. J. K. Lepley, four sisters, Mrs. J. S. Harden of Victor, Mrs. Geo. Winchester of Rocky Ford, Colo., Mrs. S. P. Gaumer of Des Moines and Mrs. A. T. Lockhart of Moline, Ill., also a brother J. B. Lepley having passed away before her.

She was a faithful christian and always a delightful and amiable person to meet. She possessed an attractive personality which always impressed her relatives and added to the list of her many friends.

The many friends of the deceased join in extending their heart-felt sympathy to the stricken household who mourn the departed.
