Mrs. Alice B Waddle, 75, died at her home in Fairfield this morning at 5:50 following an
illness of nine months.
Born in Liberty Twp., she was a daughter of the late Martin L., and a lifelong resident of the community.
Survivors include her husband, J Blaine Waddle; three children, Charles D, Bridgeport, Conn.;
Mrs. Stanley Musselman, Quarryville, Pa., and Mrs. Charles McDannell, Arendtsville. Six grandchildren also survive, along with four sisters; Mrs. John Rider, Gettysburg R2; Mrs. Emma Eyler, Arendtsville;
Mrs. John Brown, Arendtsville, and Mrs. Ollie Sanders, Fairfield RD.
The deceased was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Fairfield, and o f the Women's Circle Guild. She and her husband had operated a general store for 25 years and more recently a tourist home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Otto Kroeger officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery.
