Mrs. Emma J Eyler, 88, widow of John W Eyler, formerly of Arendtsville, died at Michael Manor Nursing Home, Gettysburg, early this morning.
She was a daughter of the late Martin Luther and Lucy Ellen Manherz Baker. She was born in Adams County.
Her husband died in 1955.
Surviving are children, Kenneth T, of Littlestown, and Mrs. Grayson H (Naomi) Main of Biglerville R2; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister, Mrs. John (Clara) Brown of Gettysburg.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Arendtsville, and the Sunday School there. She was also active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Arendtsville Fire Company and the Biglerville Senior Citizens.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, with services at Little's Funeral Home, Littlestown at 10:00 with Rev. George H Berkheimer, former pastor, presiding. Interment will be in Fairfield Cemetery.
