He was employed by International Paper for 29 years. He also was employed by CRST International, Schnieder National and Archer Daniels Midland, Camanche.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Brenda (Patrick) Stock of Camanche; two sons, Joseph Housenga of Camanche and Nathan (Cristin) Housenga of Fort Hood, Texas; one grandchild; one brother, Rollin Housenga of Greenfield, Ind.; and one sister, Mrs. Roberta (Joe) Randall of Savanna, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
