Ruth Adams Jenkins, 79, passed away Sept. 7, 2002 in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born July 7, 1923 in East Garland, Utah, the tenth child of William Albert Adams and Virginia Brann Adams. She married Russell William Jenkins in the Logan LDS Temple,

October 8, 1941. Ruth was an excellent example of unconditional love and devotion. She worked with young people in 4-H and Cub Scouts. She devoted over 20 years to Utah Boys Ranch. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities.

She is survived by her husband, Russell; children: Ann (Phil) Daniels, Neal (Gwen) Jenkins, Denise Petersen; daughters-in-law, Linda Jenkins, Kathy Jenkins; 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Maude Adams Pack; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sons, a grandson and a granddaughter: Glen, Sheldon, Kenneth, Scott, and Kristi.

She was very grateful for all the help that was given her. "Grandma" and friend to many, she will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2002, 12:00 noon in the Country Park Sixth Ward, 11250 South 2700 West, South Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may visit 10:00 - 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the South Jordan City Cemetery.
