Mrs. Thomas Briggs, residing at 613 Moore street, died yesterday, aged about 63 years. Her maiden name was Mathias [sic], and she was a native of the lower end of the county. She is survived by her husband and four children, as follows: Ira and Merbel, of Altoona; Mrs. John Mock, of Huntingdon, and Jesse, of Burnt Cabins. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon.
