Born in Ohio in 1850 - Funeral Services to Be Held Thursday Afternoon.
Mrs. Isabelle McDonald, a pioneer resident of northern Illinois, died Monday evening at ten o'clock at the Swedish-American hospital. She was seventy-one years of age. Her home was at 232 Forest ave.
Mrs. McDonald was born in Ohio, April 16, 1850. Her husband, James McDonald, died about eleven years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Brown of Argyle; by a brother, William Brown of Sheridan st., Rockford; by five sisters, Mrs. J. B. Ralston and Miss Susie Brown of Rockford; Mrs. Robert Harvey of Belvidere; Mrs. Daniel Kelley and Mrs. Martha Brown of Lincoln, Neb.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the First Presbyterian church, Rev. W. H. Fulton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
