Louie L. Smart
Louie L. Smart, 81, died August 21 at the Cameron Community Hospital.
He was a resident of Clinton County for the last 46 years. He was a roadman for the McGinnis Truck Lines. He was a member of the Vincil Masonic Lodge No. 62, AF & AM and of the Adah Chapter no. 17 of the Eastern Star in Cameron. He was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Gertrude Smart; a daughter, Barbara Dunaway, Cameron; a son, Jack Smart, Denver, Colo.; three brothers, Clellie Smart, Fremont, Ind., Faye B. Smart, Osage City, Kan., and Dayton Smart, Excelsior Springs; two sisters, Irene Salisbury, Dodge City, Kan., and Viola Peters, Garnett , Kan.; four grand children and 14 great-granchildren.
Funeral services were held August 24 at the Poland-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial was at Cameron Memory Garden Cemetery.
