Morris Mitchell Staton, 80, of Hendersonville went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 02, 2017 at Life Care Center of Hendersonville after a period of declining health. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Robert and Lucielle Henderson Staton. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Morris was self-employed as an arborist since 1954. He was of the Baptist faith and he loved to deer hunt and enjoyed working.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Anita Staton; sons, Wayne, Patrick (Taunia), and Michael (Tammy) Staton; grandchildren, Jessie, Brandon, Bobby, Howard, Jeremy and Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11am Friday, August 4, 2017 in Shepherd Memorial Park with Ordained Chaplain Wilson Bishop officiating.
