Mary Louise Jones, 82, of Fruitland, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Elizabeth House. A lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lucille Henderson Staton and wife of the late Bill Jones who died in 2004. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Bill and Herbert Staton and by a sister, Arlene Staton. A graduate of Edneyville High School, she spent her whole working life as a vendor at the Hendersonville Curb Market. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Thomas W. Jones of Fruitland; her brother, Morris Staton of Hendersonville; her grandson, Phillip Eddington of Conway, SC and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held 2pm Saturday, March 18, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Chris Norris will officiate. The family will receive guests from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
