Completing his earthly life at this home in Spanish Fork, Curtis Fillmore, 89, was born in Payson, Utah to William Rosland Fillmore and Pearl Curtis Fillmore. He married Maretta Swenson October 30, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

A graduated of Spanish Fork High School and the LDS Business School in Salt Lake City, he served in the United States Air Force during World War II as a member of the gunnery team. Employed by Geneva Steel Corporation as an accountant for 32 years, he served a mission in the East Central States from 1937 to 1939. Later he served two missions with his wife, Maretta, in the North Carolina Charlotte Mission.

His wife, Maretta; Curtis D. (Phyllis) Fillmore, David S. Fillmore, George A. (Linda) Fillmore, Ann (Ralph) Ward, Paul R. (Alison) Fillmore, Blake L. (Debbie) Fillmore, Kathy (Alan) Larsen; twenty-five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren survive Curtis.
