Levi Zeigler was the eldest child of John and Almeda (Grover) Zeigler. He married first, Ella M. Allen. And from this union he had two daughters, Lola (Zeigler) Lockie and Jennie (Zeigler) Gusse.
She died in 1879 at age 27. He then married Elizabeth "Libbie" Hodges Stone. A second marriage for both.
Levi's daughter Lola fell ill right after her marriage and soon her marriage failed and Lola stopped using her married name socially and moved back home with her father and step mother. Lola died a few years afterwards.
Levi died two days before his brother George passed away.
