George Zeigler, son of John and Almeda (Grover) Zeigler was born in South Valley, near Onoville, NY in Cattaraugus Co, NY. He married Maggie Arrance. They had 2 sons, Clarence and Ora James.
George was buried initially at the Greenwood cemetery at Red House, but in the 1960s, in order to make way for the interstate highway and the Kinzua Dam project, hundreds of graves were removed and relocated at the Steamburg cemetery. George Zeigler's grave was among those moved.
