Margaret Louise Stewart Day Nichols

Passed away Saturday at home.

Daughter of Cecil and Ida E. Hood Stewart.
Married Gordon L. Day Sept. 4, 1943. He passed away Oct. 11, 1981.
Married Don Nichols in Oct. of 1989. He passed away in 2005.
Survivors include daughters Rita Nicholas and her family and Ida (Rick) Ryder and her family; sons David (Terri) Day and his family and Jim (Leann) Day and his family; step-children Wallie (Janet) Nichols, Judy Alden Peterson and Russell (Nancy) Nichols.
She was also preceded in death by grandsons Brian Nicholas and Gordon Paul Day, son-in-law Mike Nicholas, brothers Charles and Pete, and sisters Nellie, Mildred, Virgie and Ann.

Attended school at Bellmore and Green Township.

She had worked at the Montgomery Co. Jail as a cook and for the Park and Rec.

She attended Woodland Heights Christian Church.

She loved sewing, gardening, Nascar and the Pacers.

Service 2:30pm Tuesday, July 25 at Burkhart Funeral Home led by Pastor Steve Wilke.
Visitation 1pm until time of service.

Memorial donations to St. Elizabeth Hospice, Lafayette, or Crawfordsville Park and Rec., Crawfordsville.
