Charlotte Marie Armstrong Sivells, 93, Hopkinsville, formerly of Chapel House died at 4:37 a.m. Monday, Oct.17, 2016, at Bradford Heights.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hughart, Beard and Giles Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in Hamby Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, she was born April 8, 1923, the daughter of the late Webster Lee Armstrong Sr. and Eulah May Cannon Armstrong. She retired from Thomas Industries. She was a longtime member of the Second Baptist Church, and was a past member of the Adult Choir and the Golden Sunshine Club. She served as a Pink Lady at Jennie Stuart Medical Center and was an active member of Compassionate Friends for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Edison “Jimmy” Sivells Jr. and Robert Wayne “Butch” Sivells; her brothers,Robert Thomas “Bobby” Armstrong, and Webster Lee (W.L.) Armstrong Jr.; and her sister, Louise Armstrong Glover.

Survivors include her son, David Michael (Janice) Sivells, Hopkinsville; two daughters, Linda Sivells Hoffman, Arlington, Va. and Diane Sivells Hardick, Hopkinsville; her sister, Sue Armstrong Jones, Hopkinsville; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
